What will I be doing?
You will be part of a diverse multi skilled process and assemble maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly by an international leading company.
This role involves being responsible for the safe up keep and reliability of production assets used in the manufacturing of aircraft parts. Your responsibilities will include:
• Carrying out reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Interoperation of engineering drawings to fault find & identify spare parts required.
• Documenting & Prioritising work through a CMMS.
• Operate within all HS&E standards and Policies.

What will I be doing?

• Must be able to read mechanical drawings including assembly and schematics.
• Ability to work as part of a team and work independently.
• Ability to demonstrate fault finding skills/abilities.
• Fabrication and fitting skills (Core bench-fitting skills necessary).
• Experience using a CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System).
• Be able to work safely and adhere to HS&E standards and policies.
Preferred:
• Time served engineering maintenance apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3)
• Suitable experience working with furnaces, NDT equipment or surface finish equipment
• Electrical experience/qualification.
• HNC in mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of lean, 5s & 6 sigma methodologies.
