Assistant Branch Manager (Roofing Supplier) Location: Isleworth, TW7 £31,000 per annum Due to business expansion, our client is looking for an Assistant Branch Manager to join the team in Isleworth. Specialising in the supply and delivery of roofing materials, you will be responsible for managing the branch’s daily operations, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your role will also focus on leveraging your counter sales experience to foster relationships with new and existing clients while maintaining branch profitability. Key Responsibilities: Manage and drive sales performance and profitability for the branch by overseeing both operations and customer interactions. Lead business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Use your counter sales experience to engage with customers, offer expert advice, and promote products. Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships. Oversee stock control, sales negotiations, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the branch. Motivate, lead, and support your team to drive performance and productivity. Utilise market insights to analyse sales trends and adjust strategies for business growth. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a Roofing Merchant or Construction-related sector, ideally with hands-on counter sales experience. Proven ability to manage sales and operations successfully within a branch. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. A customer-focused approach, with experience providing excellent service in a face-to-face sales environment. Ability to meet challenging sales targets and contribute to branch growth. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to manage sales data and stock control. Experience in analysing market trends and stock profiles to guide decision-making. Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 7:00 am – 4:30 pm Alternate Saturdays: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm Total weekly hours: 44.5 hours Compensation & Benefits: Salary: £31,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonuses.
