This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the senior management team as a Clinical Care Group Manager for the Specialist Services Clinical Care Group within the Access and Assurance Division.
Evidence of leadership and management experience at a senior level in a multifaceted healthcare environment is essential, delivering successful strategic and operational priorities and clearly demonstrating improvement in the quality of services delivered. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have experience of advising senior organisational leaders about options regarding service quality improvements. You will also have experience of managing change in a complex environment and be able to demonstrate an ability to work innovatively to achieve the best outcome for patients.
The Clinical Care Group Manager provides managerial leadership as part of a triumvirate within the Clinical Care Group, working collaboratively across the health and care system to support the delivery of high-quality person-centred care. Experience of working with multi-disciplinary teams and working with partner organisations, locally and nationally, is essential. A working knowledge of the clinical services, service planning and managing performance against local and national priorities is also considered essential.
The Specialist Services Clinical Care Group has a diverse portfolio of services which includes renal, oncology, haematology, pain, neurology, neurosurgery, cell pathology and genetics. Working with the Specialist Services Clinical Care Group Director and Lead Nurse you will be responsible for high quality, effective, safe operational delivery of these services, supported by robust planning processes to ensure they remain sustainable into the future.
You will have support from the senior team in the Access and Assurance Division and work closely with the Associate Director, Associate Medical Director and Associate Nurse Director and other Clinical Care Group Managers.
This role has a Tayside wide portfolio and there will be an expectation to work across Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary to ensure services are appropriately supported.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to provide leadership to the diverse range of services within the Specialist Services portfolio.
