Facilities Maintenance Assistant / Handyman - £26600 - North Nottinghamshire
A Facilities Services business is supporting a long-term contract to deliver services to a PFI healthcare portfolio of Primary Care centres across North Nottingham.
Typical responsibilities will include the following:
1. Replacing light tubes/emergency light batteries.
2. Minor slab and paving repairs.
3. Replacing digital locks, door closers, and door furniture.
4. Conducting Fire Door visual inspections.
5. Carrying out fire alarm weekly activation and assisting with site evacuations.
6. Maintaining the set of on-site compliance books, including completing the daily/weekly/monthly checklists/documents.
7. Using a PDA in order to close down assigned work orders within all SLA's.
8. Planning of minor works (access and time span).
9. Minor building repairs, including painting as required.
10. Winter maintenance, supplementary gritting and clearance of snow as per gritting plan.
11. Replacement of site stock/ordering of materials.
12. Installing shelves and noticeboards as required.
13. Water hygiene run-offs and temperature checks.
