Overview
Job Title: Project Engineer
Reporting To: Head of Projects, UK
Location: Proseal UK (secondment to Proseal US)
Shift Pattern/Working Hours
Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day and two paid 15-minute breaks. Total of 40 hours per week.

Job Summary
The Project Engineer will plan, execute, monitor, and control high-value, technical projects. Responsibilities include setting deadlines, providing feedback, and communicating with clients about project status.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting business objectives in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
2. Oversee projects from specification through installation, commissioning, and training.
3. Communicate project expectations effectively to team members and stakeholders.
4. Track milestones and deliverables against budget.
5. Gain comprehensive knowledge of UK and US planning boards, including product entries, manufacturing capabilities, eBOM parts, and departmental responsibilities.
6. Identify and resolve issues within the plan; escalate when necessary.
7. Manage changes in project scope, identify crises, and develop contingency plans.
8. Maintain close communication with Proseal America to ensure excellent customer-supplier relationships.
9. Participate in machine testing, developing well-documented procedures for machinery preparation for customer sites.
10. Possess or be working towards broad knowledge of Proseal machinery, ELV control techniques, and process flow.

Preferred Experience
* At least 5 years in engineering, specifically in tray sealing machine technology.
* Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
* Technical and business acumen, including risk management and decision-making skills.
