Head of Payroll
Location: Glasgow / Hybrid Working (relocation support offered)
Salary: £58-70,000
Key responsibilities:
* Managing a high volume payroll of 10,000+ including pensions, benefits, travel and expenses.
* Leading the ongoing development of large teams.
* Oversee and lead on performance levels of the payroll team.
* Implement best practice and develop/improve poicies and procedures.
* Answering and resolving all payroll related queries.
* Designing, developing and delivering new processes to streamline and improve efficiency.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
You will have:
* Excellent communication, coaching and people skills.
* Up to date knowledge of payroll legislation, including pensions, teachers pensions and employment and tax regulations.
* Experience in running high volume payrolls of 10,000+.
* Strong team leadership skills, including experience in coaching and development.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with an ability to manage budgets, forecast and create payroll reports.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
