Role Summary The SIP (Share Incentive Plan) Ops team forms part of the wider Employee Services team and is made up of over 20 staff based across Worthing, Chennai and Bengaluru. This role is flexible with an expectation that you will be in the office on a 60:40 ratio. The team is split into small sub-teams and as an administrator, as part of your sub-team team, you have responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of one or two interlinked processes. The SIP product is complex and governed by the rules as laid down by the HMRC. As part of your role you are responsible for ensuring that the product is administered in line with these roles as well as meeting client expectations and Trustee obligations. Any concerns should immediately be escalated to your line management. There are several roles within the SIP team and you may find yourself responsible for the delivery of a number of processes, or specialising in one. These include the daily administration of incoming funds, payroll reporting, share purchases, dividends, reconciliation, sales, transfers and settlements. EQ is a significant provider of SIP plans in the industry and as a consequence these processes can involve transactions totalling several millions of pounds a month. Core Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for the day-to-day running of the share plan. Acquire familiarity with the main operating system (SIP SQL) and be prepared to learn/use other systems as required. Working as part of a team to manage key activities such as purchases, sales and dividends. Working as part of a team to ensure that daily activities are managed to SLA. Monitoring inbox and replying to internal and external queries. Working with internal stakeholders to manage tasks. Awareness of key regulations, including but not limited to, COBS and CASS Awareness of HMRC regulations and their impact on the product Awareness of the EQ escalation policy so that issues can be escalated in an appropriate way.
