Teaching Personnel are working closely with a primary school located in Macclesfield seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the team. The individual must be passionate and enthusiastic about the development of young students. This is a great opportunity for either established Teaching Assistants or aspiring teachers looking for classroom experience. The school is in an excellent location with great transport links between Congleton, Wilmslow and Stockport Opportunity to earn £85-£120 per day (dependent on experience) Full-time role The role: Working 1-1 or in small groups with students who require additional academic support Assisting the class teacher in maintaining behaviour and ensuring the schools behaviour policies are followed Assisting the class teacher in preparing lessons and resources Liaising with staff members and parents, providing updates on the student’s academic progress and development What we are looking for: Experience within a school is necessary, primary school setting is preferable Strong communication skills with both students and other members of staff Good understanding of childhood development and managing behaviours Safeguarding training (must be done through Teaching Personnel) To be considered for this role, applicants must have a DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.
