We are a successful and growing provider of Cremation Services to the veterinary sector.
Contributing to the smooth running of the Company, you will be working as part of our busy but friendly Operations team at our specialist facility in Newtownards.
You will need to be a flexible team worker, a fast learner with good attention to detail, physically fit, and able to undertake manual handling of heavy items. The ability to be empathetic and understanding with bereaved members of the public is also essential.
This role is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You will be required to work every other Saturday morning, and overtime may be required at busier times.
Cremator – You will be responsible for the following duties:
* Prioritising workload through the cremator to achieve the best balance of quality throughput and fuel usage.
* Ensuring all Company documentation and records are completed accurately and according to Company procedures.
* Maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety practice.
Driver – You will need:
* A full and clean UK Driving Licence.
* Personable interaction with veterinary staff.
* The ability to undertake manual handling of heavy items.
Other Responsibilities and Roles:
* Keeping a clean and tidy workplace at all times.
* Ash packing.
* Occasionally answering phone calls.
* Entering records onto electronic files.
