We are seeking a full-time Lecturer in Health to join our successful team based at Leicester College. You will teach on the T Level in Health.
You will possess a degree in health and have teaching experience in the subject area up to Level 3, including T Levels and/or BTEC. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage young learners aged 16-19.
Applicants are therefore invited to apply who hold the following:
* A full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the College will support you to obtain this as part of our investment in your professional development.
* A Degree Level qualification in a related subject and have a track record of delivering high quality teaching/training and be competent at assessing students’ work.
* Level 2 or equivalent qualification in maths and English (e.g., GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above or the equivalent).
Applications from candidates with a background in teaching in an FE (Further Education) environment would also be advantageous but not essential.
