Job Summary
Due to an increase in demand, we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Recruitment Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in sourcing, attracting, and selecting top talent for our clients, as well as introducing new clients to the business. This position requires strong relationship management skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both candidates and clients.
Duties
1. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs and organisational culture.
2. Business development to build on the current client base as well as introducing new business to the company.
3. Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.
4. Visit client sites to understand their needs and what we can deliver.
5. Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit for client roles.
6. Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact through to offer negotiation.
7. Man the on-call phone to ensure clients have contact when needed.
8. Plan work and resources to maximise output.
9. Utilise applicant tracking systems to manage candidate pipelines effectively.
10. Collaborate with hiring managers to refine job descriptions and identify key competencies required for each role.
11. Provide feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience.
12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment and human resources.
Candidate Requirements
1. Proven experience in a recruitment environment is highly desirable.
2. Must be able to work to targets and achieve KPIs.
3. Must have a full driving licence and access to a car (Mileage paid).
4. Strong skills in lead generation and relationship management are essential.
5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and candidates.
6. A background in sales and the service industry can be beneficial for this role.
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
8. Proficiency in using IT systems will be considered an asset.
