An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team, working as a band 5 dietitian within Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This post will enable the successful candidate to consolidate and advance their skills and knowledge in a range of clinical areas. You will be part of the inpatient team based in the acute hospital at King Mill Hospital. You will have your own caseload, which will be mostly in-patients with some opportunities to support outpatient clinics. You will take part in auditing service provision and service development and guideline development. Applicants need to be registered dietitians, with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach. We have close links with the University of Nottingham and Sheffield University and take student dietitians for placements. To manage own caseload and to provide a high standard of assessment, management, treatment and advice to meet the needs of patients. To work collaboratively with colleagues in health, social care, local authority and other agencies to meet the needs of patients. To ensure the efficient and effective use of resources available within the team. To contribute to the provision of education and training on dietetic issues for other health professionals.
