We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior MICE Sales Manager to join our team at Novotel London West. As a Senior MICE Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and maximising revenue by targeting and securing Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) business for the hotel/venue. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong business acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a deep understanding of the MICE market.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in MICE sales within the hospitality industry, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy & Business Development:
o Develop and implement a strategic MICE sales plan to drive revenue growth for the hotel/venue.
o Identify and target potential clients, covering all demographics as set by the hotel/venue
o Build and maintain relationships with key MICE clients, including repeat and new business, through proactive outreach and networking.
o Manage and grow the MICE business pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets, in line with set KPIs.
o Work with the DOSM on given projects contributing to the commercial success of the hotel.
* Client Relationship Management:
o Cultivate long-term relationships with existing MICE clients to drive repeat business.
o Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the hotel/venue and stay current with market trends.
o Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to build brand loyalty and encourage referrals.
o Work closely with the Accor Sales Network
* Market Analysis & Reporting:
o Stay up-to-date with trends in the MICE industry, competitive offerings, and local market conditions.
o Monitor and analyse performance against targets, providing regular sales updates and reports to DOSM.
o Implement strategies to address gaps in the market and identify opportunities for growth.
o Actively prepare for and participate in all Commercial meetings
Qualifications:
* Experience:
o A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a proactive MICE sales role within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue and closing high-value deals.
o Previous experience in a senior or management-level sales role is highly desirable.
o Strong understanding of the MICE market, including key trends, event formats, and client needs
* Skills & Competencies:
o Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
o Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and other stakeholders.
o Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems.
o Fluency in English is essential.
