Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our clients team with the successful candidate being responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients. Key Responsibilities: Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates for various projects. Analyse project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates. Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues. Review and evaluate cost estimates. Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures. Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliers. Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings to gather essential project information. Ensure all tenders are submitted accurately and on time. Collaborate with project managers to handover successful tenders and provide support during the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within the building services sector. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Valid driver's license.
