Job description This is a rare chance to shape the future of Home Ownership in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional team you will provide effective oversight and advice to internal and external stakeholders, in order to deliver good customer outcomes, continually improving control effectiveness and efficient service delivery. The role will include delivery of the conduct risk strategy, leading on assurance statement delivery and control review activities with a strong focus on treating customers fairly and setting/review of adherence to customer outcome standards. The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects and activity to support the ongoing stewardship of a loan book valued at c.£19bn and with c. 250,000 customers. There are some rewarding and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the portfolio management and customer outcomes of our loans services. Person specification A bit about you Whilst our day job is to deliver great outcomes to our customers and stakeholders, you will be used to "spinning several plates" at once and will always be looking for ways to improve and innovate. You'll be comfortable supporting the customer-centric strategy by shaping and delivering a risk based conduct and service review plan. You will lead on controls & process reviews, conduct risk assessments and customer outcomes assessments. You will be proficient in best practice standards covering governance, conduct risk, control reviews and compliance, preferably within financial services and/or customer focussed environments. Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isnt always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as the customer facing Home Ownership team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade. As an experienced assurance, risk management and/or compliance professional youll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
