M&H Carriers are looking to recruit an administrative assistant to join our team in a well-known and successful logistics company based in Aberdeen .
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have great customer service skills, proven experience within an administration role or similar, and thrive under pressure.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Prebrief and debrief of delivery drivers.
* Booking in deliveries with customers.
* Data entry.
* Ensuring day-to-day operations run as efficiently as possible.
* The use of M&H Carriers database.
* Supporting the Traffic Manager.
* Answering telephone calls and dealing with customers/other carriers' queries.
* Basic admin tasks, i.e., photocopying, scanning, etc.
* Some warehouse duties including bay checks and checking freight in.
Knowledge of the parcel/freight industry is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.
Hours:
45 hours per week with additional overtime available.
Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:30, occasional Saturday required.
Please note that your employment with M&H Carriers is contingent upon the submission of a basic disclaimer (DBS) within the first three weeks of your start date. If you do not currently have a basic disclaimer, you may obtain one for a fee of £25.00. M&H Carriers will refund this £25.00 fee upon the successful completion of your probation period.
Failure to submit the completed disclaimer within the specified timeframe may result in the reconsideration of your employment status with M&H Carriers.
