My client, a pharmaceutical company based in Berkshire, are currently searching for an energetic and motivated Graphic Designer to join their team on a permanent basis. Within this role you will develop packaging components such as drug packaging artwork, leaflet design, and logistical solutions such as shipment and pallet solutions. A strong background in using Adobe Illustrator will be essential and if you have a working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, this would be highly beneficial. Whilst mainly focused on packaging design, the Graphic Designer is a member of a wider Regulatory team which involves supporting them with compliance of the products as well as providing design support across the rest of the business where required. Responsibilities: Design and develop all aspects of packaging for a variety of pharmaceutical products including cartons, labels, blister packs, leaflets, and case configurations using Adobe Suite. Ensure Blister Packs, Carton and Shipper sizes are standardised where possible, and maintained. Cutter guides developed when necessary. Artwork version control and maintenance of the artworks developed Control of codes used by products (e.g. Pharmacodes and Barcodes) Barcodes may be provided externally. Updating house design and other guides when appropriate ensuring the portfolio is in line with the local governing authorities guidelines- such as the MHRA. Provide support for internal and external marketing material including posters, published reports and logo designs. Provide regulatory support related to packaging and leaflet design, submissions and changes. This can be in the form of EU or MHRA guideline advice or the feasibility of changes/developments involving artworks. Provide basic CAD and Design support to facilities, packaging and manufacturing for additional equipment and plant layouts as required on an ad-hoc basis Other artworks for internal departments as and when requested for example warning signs, labels and so on. Any other duties as responsible assigned by the line manager or Director. Required Skills and Experience: Adobe Suite Advanced Microsoft Office Suite Competent Ability to drive projects forward, involving multiple teams and managing key stakeholder expectations. Attention to detail and quality of documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a commitment to meeting deadlines. Effective oral and written communication skills Excellent organisational and planning skills A self-starter and able to work independently.
