This multi-site food manufacturer is ever-growing with this role being based at their site in Hull, East Yorkshire. The high-quality produce manufactured at their various sites is distributed across the major supermarkets in the UK and due to their deep roots in British farming, this well-established company has ties with local and UK-wide farmers creating a strong relationship within the community.
Roles and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer :
1. Daily repairs and maintenance of fast-moving food manufacturing machinery
2. Identifying areas for continuous improvements
3. Covering both reactive and planned maintenance across the site
4. Fault finding and using root cause analysis
5. Effectively using the PPM system and updating and keeping to the maintenance schedule
I am keen to see CVs from individuals who have:
6. A relevant qualification such as a City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3 or BTEC Level 3 (Apprenticeship), in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
7. Experience within a manufacturing environment, especially in Food or FMCG manufacturing as this would be very beneficial.
8. Previously worked as a Multi Skilled Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Multi-Skilled Technician etc.
