With the current program introducing the cutting-edge NEO aircraft and the arrival of the A321.
The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the assigned hangar production team in delivering the planned and unscheduled maintenance requirements. Supportive of the easyJet culture, the Supervisor will actively promote engagement and recognition amongst the department. As required, the Supervisor may deputise for the Management team ensuring the continued smooth running of the operation and delivery of a best-in-class maintenance service, always maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational excellence. Safety is easyJet’s highest priority, and as part of your role, you will ensure that the planned in-house maintenance activity supports both regulatory standards and easyJet’s industry-leading safety and technical standards.
What you need to do the role
1. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering and maintenance supervision, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing operations in this field.
2. Holding a UK Part 66 B1 or B2 and C license and authorization (or equivalent on company aircraft) is essential for this role.
3. It is crucial to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of airworthiness legislation and be able to apply it effectively.
4. Operational experience in a hangar maintenance environment is required, showcasing the ability to manage resources and ensure efficient workflow.
5. Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively communicating issues to key stakeholders.
6. A high degree of customer focus, both internal and external, is expected.
7. The successful candidate will have the ability to inspire and lead change in diverse teams, driving improvements within the business.
8. Flexibility, adaptability to meet deadlines and overcome operational challenges, and embracing change are key attributes.
9. A strong working knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and proficiency in IT systems are also important for this role.

Location & Hours of Work
This full-time role will be based in Gatwick working a NNNN 10.75 hour shift. Shift pattern will be 4x4 with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
