Description
Is it time to open new doors in your legal journey? We are seeking a Claims Handler (CH3) to join our Liverpool team. The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement.
Key Accountabilities
1. Effectively and efficiently manage a caseload of pre-litigated motor claims including PI from inception to settlement.
2. Support delivery of consistently high levels of service and productivity.
3. Work closely with colleagues within the firm to deliver consistently high levels of service.
4. Input accurate data and ensure data maintenance.
5. Interact and communicate with clients.
6. Mentor, train, and serve as the technical referral point for other team members.
7. Audit files, if required.
Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday 9am – 5.00pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch. This is a hybrid role working 1 day in the office and 4 days from home.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
1. Experience of dealing with motor PI claims under the predictive costs regime is desirable.
2. Experience of the MOJ portal, stages 1 and 2.
3. Pre-litigation experience.
4. Experience of handling claims outside of the MOJ and the predictive cost regime.
5. Experience of mentoring is desirable.
6. Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and email.
7. Customer service experience.
8. Excellent attention to detail.
9. Negotiation skills.
10. Communication skills.
11. Organisational skills.
12. Ability to mentor and support new starters.
