As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The Apprenticeship Programme is designed to train and develop you in a way that enables you to learn the core.
Elements of your job role using advancing technology as well as fostering an exceptional level of customer service.
Duties will include:
* Working with customers to meet their requirements and giving advice on additional parts and services
* Matching orders against stock items and sourcing parts, while offering competitive prices
* Working as a team and independently to reach set goals and KPIs
* Delivering fantastic customer service while remaining efficient and focused on your tasks
* Incoming and outgoing call handling, face-to-face transactions, and IT-based communications
* Managing goods in and out
* Working with suppliers, placing orders or returns and processing paperwork accurately
* Working to a high-level of customer service at all times and remain courteous and police to customers

Your training plan
Candidates will work towards achieving Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship standard. They will also be required to study towards achieving level 2 maths and English functional skills if they do not already hold equivalent qualifications.

Standard Training will include:
* Nationally recognised qualifications
* IMI level 2 Certificate in Customer Service for the Automotive Industry
· ATA Accreditation Customer Service Advisor
· Regular in dealer review and assessment visits
· Functional skills if needed

Other requirements
The candidate must be available to start as soon as possible and be able to travel to the workplace according to the working hours. The candidate must be able to attend the block release training weeks in Nottingham. The current National Minimum Wage (NMW) rate for apprentices is £6.40 per hour. This applies to 16-18year old apprentices and those aged over 18 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. For all other apprentices the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies. The Minimum Wage for Apprentices applies to time spent on the job plus time spent training. * Please note that anyone under the age of 18 will only work a maximum of 40 hours per week.
