We are expanding our team and are looking for a proactive and experienced Service Controller to join our service department.

The Role:
As a Service Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our fleet and retail customer equipment. This is a full-time position where you'll be the backbone of our service department, coordinating the timely repair and maintenance tasks, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact for customer breakdown requests, coordinating with clients and dispatching Field Service Technicians for prompt repairs and maintenance.
2. Manage and communicate with technicians to ensure the availability of spare parts.
3. Create and manage work orders for Field Service Technicians, and accurately record the completion of work in our MCS system.
4. Schedule and oversee preventative maintenance on fleet equipment, ensuring safety for both employees and customers.
5. Continuously analyze and improve scheduling practices to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
6. Build strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues to facilitate the effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Previous experience as a Field Service Coordinator in a mechanical environment highly regarded but not essential.
2. Proven experience in a high-volume scheduling environment.
3. Solid mechanical aptitude.
4. Strong customer focus with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
6. Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
7. Analytical skills with a knack for recommending improvements to systems, processes, and procedures.
8. A mechanical or automotive qualification is preferred but not essential.
