We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Macmillan Suite as a Patient Pathway Administrator. You will work within this dedicated team to facilitate the smooth running of the administration duties in the clinical areas, scheduling and booking appointments, ensuring that coordinated and streamlined communication revolves around the patient and their individual needs, alongside supporting the clinical management team.
You should have experience of working as an administrator in a customer-focused environment, and have knowledge of customer care. We are looking for individuals with excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a desire to provide a first-class service for patients and clinical teams.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for providing a wide range of administration and clerical support to the coordinators, consultants, and haematology team to facilitate a smooth, efficient, and confidential patient pathway.
This rapidly expanding modern and busy service offers many training opportunities for their staff. Recent developments have led to the opening of our cancer centre in February 2020 and the upcoming opening of the Radiotherapy centre in 2024. This developing service is supported by a forward-thinking and supportive Management Team, Nurse Practitioners, Palliative Care Team, and Macmillan Wellbeing and Support Centre.
We firmly believe in holistic care, with a newly established wellbeing team to enhance the recovery package for patients living with and beyond cancer. We have Citizen Advice Bureau onsite and offer a wide range of carers and patient support groups.
