This role will be focused on working with service users, carers, and staff through in-reach into services to improve the quality of services and service user experience. It will involve supporting services to share best practice across a range of forums both within the Provider Collaboratives and across Yorkshire and Humber. This will include supporting local involvement and engagement strategies and involvement opportunities and promoting networks through the website, virtual platforms and using accessible formats. The successful candidate will be great at developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships, to obtain valuable involvement experiences. They will be able to think creatively to solve problems, be able to adapt what they share to match the needs of audiences and communicate findings in a suitable way for all stakeholders. Main duties of the job To work as part of a team to develop, promote and deliver on involvement strategies in the identified services across the Yorkshire and Humber region. To contribute and facilitate involvement activities to ensure quality of care is maximised and service users have multiple routes to share their experiences directly to improve services To work closely with service users and staff in inpatient and community services to raise the profile of involvement and co-production strategies, supporting people to be involved in projects and service developments. To map and build networks with community organisations which people can access to support their continuing involvement. To support services to share best practice across a range of forums both within the Provider Collaborative and Yorkshire and Humber networks. To provide support to individual services to develop good practice through in-reach support and networking opportunities, by maximising support for individual service involvement strategies and involvement opportunities. To promote opportunities to share good practice through the website, virtual platforms and using accessible formats. The role will have a considerable level of autonomy, which will include developing close working relationships with external organisations across the area.
