Gi Pro are excited to join forces with a global multi-site manufacturer with a long-established history, offering stability and long-term opportunities for growth. We’re currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a well experienced and efficient team. Providing hands-on support to both production and internal function throughout the site. Part of your role will involve supporting the existing engineering management teams by communicating faults, developing prevention initiatives and implementing IMS standards.
Develop and implement a computerised Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Implement and follow all company and site control procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and quality statutory requirements.
• Develop and carry out repair activities, working within production needs to enhance plant availability.
• Coordinate with and manage external contractors, ensuring they adhere to strict safety guidelines and meet standards.
• Ensure maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively in a timely manner.
• Completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship to Level 3, such as City and Guilds or NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience in managing a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system.
• Proficiency in computer literacy, including experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and develop a team.
