Aneurin Bevan University Health Board has an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities team as a Facilities Operative (Catering Stores Person) based at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr Hospital in Ystrad Mynach.
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who is committed to enhancing the patient & customer experience, therefore you must have a passion for providing a high level of customer service.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
The working hours will be 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday.
Main duties of the job
The main duties involve:
1. Receive/unload deliveries of food, materials and equipment.
2. Ensure that food deliveries are of the correct temperature and of acceptable quality, and complete the relevant paperwork.
3. Replenish stock items, following guidelines of good stock rotation.
4. Liaise with the supervisor on menu and stock levels of meals, ingredients and non-consumable items. Control foods and stores within catering coupled with the maintenance of reasonable stock levels.

Previous Experience
* Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
* Experience of undertaking a facilities role.
Knowledge & Training
* Good basic education.
* Level 2 Food Safety or requirement to attain.
* NVQ level 1/2 in Facilities Services and/or Customer Services.
* Willingness to undertake accredited & mandatory training relevant to the role.
* Basic IT skills.
* Spoken or written Welsh language.
