About the Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in the classroom, providing support to teachers and pupils to enhance learning experiences. You’ll work with small groups and individual students, helping to reinforce lesson content, boost confidence, and foster a positive learning atmosphere. Key Responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering structured and engaging lessons. Work one-on-one or with small groups of students who need additional support. Encourage students' participation and confidence in their learning. Help manage classroom activities and maintain focus. Support children with special educational needs (SEN) as required. Prepare learning materials and set up resources for lessons. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. What We’re Looking For Previous experience working with children in an educational or care setting is beneficial but not essential. A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting learning. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and students.
