Our public sector client based in South Tyneside has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer to join their Safeguarding & DoL's Team (Adult Services) as soon as possible The role is temporary and is looking to start as soon as possible, lasting until May 2025 initially. The hours of work will be full time working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. The pay rate for the role will be £12.38 per hour. Duties of the role will involve:- · Ensure that office equipment, stationary and other office consumables are ordered in accordance with purchasing procedures · Undertake the management of manual and computerised records · Process completed referrals and prepare completed documents · Receive and asses referrals in order to prepare for DoLS · Support the team in the coordination of assessments to the timescales required · Be expected to have appropriate contact with family members and relevant persons involved in the DoLS process · Undertake financial processing activities such as processing of orders and invoices The successful candidate should have a strong back ground within office administration, excellent IT skills and data accuracy skills.
