Location: Bolton
Salary: Grade 4 - £32,040 - £35,400
Basis: Part Time
Contracted Hours: 19.09 Hours
Package: Permanent
Working Pattern: A rotating pattern of:
* 2x Early shifts (7am - 3pm)
* 2x Afternoon shifts (3pm - 11pm)
* Followed by 7 rest days
Why is the role important?
This role delivers efficient and effective care to older customers through a 24-hour social alarm monitoring and mobile response service. This role is crucial in addressing various customer needs, enabling older customers to maintain their independence at home. The position operates with the 24-hour social alarm service, providing timely responses to customers in their residences.
Key Outcomes
* Identify vulnerable customers, make referrals, and direct them to appropriate services.
* Be agile-minded, make decisive decisions, and respond swiftly to challenging and emergency situations to ensure the safety of our elderly customers.
* Respond to incidents related to the delivery of the Careline Service to customers in their homes, in accordance with set procedures.
* Deal with customer queries to deliver solutions that best meet their needs.
What’s involved?
* Visit customers to demonstrate, install or repair various Telecare equipment, and complete all associated paperwork.
* Operate a computerised stock control system, including allocating stock, receiving returns, recording, and re-allocating.
* Ability to move vulnerable customers using manual handling procedures, following appropriate training.

* Ensure all Health and Safety issues identified are reported and appropriate learning where required is shared.
Additional Information
A satisfactory DBS check is required for this role, which will be completed as part of the onboarding process and renewed as required. You will require a full and clean drivers' licence for this position.
