I am looked for a detail-oriented and proactive Residential Property Paralegal to join a busy and supportive Conveyancing team.
You will assist fee earners with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and excellent client care.
Paralegal responsibilities:
* Assist fee earners with all aspects of the conveyancing process, from instruction through to post-completion.
* Handle client enquiries relating to residential property transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
* Review and prepare standard conveyancing documents, such as Contracts, Transfer Deeds, and Mortgage Deeds.
* Conduct searches (e.g., Land Registry, Local Authority, Environmental) and report findings to clients.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties to ensure timely progression of matters.
* Draft and issue client care letters and terms of business. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties to ensure excellent service delivery.
* Assist with billing and initial credit control, liaising with fee earners and clients as necessary.
What could set you apart:
* Previous experience in Residential Conveyancing.
* Previous experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar.
