This prominent insurer is further strengthening their existing Distribution Team by hiring a Distribution Manager to represent the company as a regional leader. The appointee will act as the main point of contact for all key broker stakeholders locally and will have ultimate responsibility for overseeing trading activity and relationship management. You will help brokers to better understand and navigate around the compan establishing multi-layered contact frameworks with broker partners.
As a senior member of the distribution team you’ll play a critical role in evolving our sales strategy and help to define and shape the technology, training and investment required to create a best of breed sales and development culture.
Key responsibilities & accountabilities

Be the main point of contact for brokers and navigate general opportunities and management of trading challenges effectively within the region

Design a regional distribution plan, aligned to the broader UK distribution strategy, and evidence delivery through agreed KPIs
*
Identify key broker opportunities to deliver growth and innovation in your region and coordinate sales and development activity to best navigate each trading relationship
*
Build a deep understanding of broker strategies in the region and translate that insight into clear and effective product class strategies for each broker
*
Produce opportunities to secure new business through sales and development activity that leverages existing national agreements, MI and technology to execute effective regional strategies
*
Work closely with underwriting teams to understand proposition, appetite and capability and communicate product strategy effectively to the regional market.
