Operations Coordinator

Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility required to suit business needs where necessary)
We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Burnley. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient operational processes across the business. You will work closely with installation teams, external suppliers, hauliers, and internal teams to coordinate materials, distribution, and problem-solving efforts.
Key Responsibilities:

General Administration: Provide administrative support to the operations team to ensure seamless daily operations.

Material Coordination: Organize the delivery of materials to sites, liaising with hauliers to arrange collections and deliveries.
*
Job Preparation: Create and distribute job packs for site teams, ensuring they have all necessary documentation.
*
Inventory Management: Input stock data accurately using Sage and monitor inventory levels.
*
Supplier Relations: Order materials from suppliers and maintain strong working relationships.
*
Logistics Coordination: Arrange equipment hire, skip hire, and accommodation bookings for site teams.
*
Problem Solving: Act as a point of contact for operational challenges, resolving issues effectively and ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including scheduling and supplier agreements.
*
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement solutions collaboratively.
Person Specification:
* Experience in a Logistics Coordination / Materials Scheduling / Planning and Operational discipline highly advantageous
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
*
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts quickly to change.
*
Exceptional problem-solving skills and initiative.
*
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
*
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Sage is advantageous.
