About the Role
As a Student Information Manager at Huntress, you will provide leadership, management, and support to Student Information Officers on campus. Your primary objective is to foster a team ethic, motivate staff, and ensure effective communication across the team and wider campus community.
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operational activities of the Student Information Service in campus, ensuring students can access the services they require throughout their on-course journey. You will prioritize the student experience at all times, providing exceptional customer service to students and staff across various programs and intakes.
To achieve this, you will collaborate with internal departments to facilitate the smooth running of services, ensuring students and staff feel part of the ULaw community. You will also lead the implementation of the University's Customer Service Strategy within Student Information on campus, embedding a culture of continuous improvement.
About the Responsibilities
* You will operate as the Student Route Visa Officer for the campus, collaborating with the University's Student Immigration Compliance & Advice team to ensure compliance with Home Office regulations.
* This includes registration of visa-sponsored students, holding disciplinary meetings with visa-sponsored students who fall below the required attendance level, and supporting Student Route visa audits when required.
* You will manage high volumes of complex issues related to visa-sponsored students to ensure continued compliance and maintain the best possible student experience.
About the Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess advanced problem-solving skills and judgment when dealing with compliance challenges. They should be proactive in reaching out to and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve issues.
This role is fully office-based, requiring the ability to work 35 hours a week between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday. The estimated salary for this position is £22.42 per hour.
