NHS GRAMPIAN TRANSPORT DRIVER C at C1 General Service Driver required for Transport Department NHS Grampian. The position involves transporting all types of Supplies/stores/equipment and laundry across NHS Grampian Adhering to Manual handling regulations as the Job involves loading/Unloading of all types of cages/pods/bags/containers, along with any other loads as required by the organisation, stocking vehicle for daily runs. Must to be flexible with regards to working hours and days dependant on service needs. Our Drivers must always be polite and courteous to Staff, Customers and members of the public at all times. Must wear any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided. You’ll also be required to: Hold a full class C1 Licence or above, CPC Card and Tachograph Card with driving experience preferred. No DR10. Carry out vehicle checks and report any mechanical defects and maintaining vehicle to high standard and follow procedures properly. Check loads and ensure accuracy and efficient loading/unloading at designated delivery/Collection points. Have the Ability to manual handle heavy loads Undertake training to develop, learn and progress. Demonstrate a proactive attitude in regards to Road Safety and may be required to carry out any other duties as deemed reasonable. Must be punctual, reliable and well presented with good communication skills face to face.
