Sigma EHS Administrator Role Vacancy
With a passion for best practices and delivering a robust safety culture, the Sigma EHS Administrator will be reporting to the HSE, Facilities and CI Manager and a point of contact for support for all Production areas across the Sigma sites at Hinckley and Farnborough. The role will include the reviewing of current practices against current legislation, completing internal and external audits and supporting the core business to improve Health and Safety and provide the most suitable working environment for Sigma employees.
Location Detail
Role is based at Farnborough with some planned travel to Hinckley when required.
Description
* The role requires communication with all areas of the Manufacturing processes on both sites.
* Completing audits of the Manufacturing processing and updating documentation to suit.
* Site contact for managing the review of the Occupational Health Surveillance of all Sigma Manufacturing employees.
* Ensure that Sigma Hinckley and Farnborough uses the ISO Management System to maintain the ISO14001 certification.
* Ensure that Sigma Hinckley and Farnborough uses the ISO Management System to maintain the ISO45001 certification.
* To ensure all equipment on site are reviewed in line with current legislation and able to always operate to a high standard of health and safety.
* Ensure that any planned maintenance is completed with correct documentation to statutory compliance standards.
* Embedding the implementation of the HSE Safetyhub Video training for Hinckley and Farnborough to all employees.
* Manage HSE KPI’s and Dashboard.
* Monitoring and reviewing of Good Spots, Near Misses, Nonreportable incidents and Reportable incidents at Sigma Hinckley and Farnborough, ensuring that all the above are investigated with root causes identified and actions put into place to stop any reoccurrences with a good level of communication with all parties on the progress of outstanding and completed actions.
Profile
* Experience with Manufacturing, HSE standards and current legislation.
* Experience with implementing robust and budgeted project plans to understand actions and conclusion.
* Worked within a Production facility and able to identify Hazards and implement actions to reduce risk.
* Good communication and able to work within a team or in an individual basis.
* Have experience implementing change.
* Good Computer skills with Google, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power-point.
* Ability to Travel between sites.
* Flexibility of working hours.
* Clean Driving Licence.
Desirable but not essential:
* Working towards a IOSH or have obtained one
* NEBOSH certificate
* Auditor certificate
