We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at a prestigious international museum as Visitor Engagement Assistants.
Position: Visitor Engagement Assistant
Hours: 28 hours per week
⏰ Shift Patterns: Varied
Transport: Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links
The successful candidates must be available from 15th July - 26th August 2024 and will be available to work most weekends throughout this period.

Job Opportunity
* To provide a proactive and warm welcome for all visitors at various locations within the museum
* Helping them enjoy and engage with the collection by providing an outstanding level of visitor care tailored to individual needs.
* Responding to visitor inquiries and needs.
* Looking out for the safety of people and the collection
* To respond to face-to-face complaints and feedback, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve any issues
* To be an ambassador for the Museum, maintaining a smart and professional appearance and providing a proactive and warm welcome for all visitors at various locations within museum.
* To staff the Visitor Engagement points
* To proactively engage with and assist visitors in how best to maximize their enjoyment of the collection by responding to a wide range of inquiries about the collection, buildings, events and activities and type of services available.
* To respond to face-to-face complaints and feedback, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve any issues.
* Welcome booked school groups, group leaders and families.
Essential Skills
Essential:
* Right to work in the UK and have a five-year check able employment or education history
* Able to get to the Site on-time for your shifts (reasonable commute)
* Excellent customer service
* Computer literate

* Committed and reliable

The candidate must show the willingness to support on a major summer families commission and work amongst an already established team.
