About the team and the role At Ocado Retail, we’re at an exciting point in our plans in working towards launching a new Retail Media network in the UK. As part of that transformation we are looking to bring in specialists within Media Planning, to help execute and deliver a new way of working with our suppliers, that ultimately delivers value back to them, Ocado and our customers. This role is supplier facing, with a primary aim of delivering, consulting and executing media plans to our key strategic FMCG suppliers. The role will be part of a newly formed Media Planning department, responsible for building trusted relationships with suppliers, building customer-first media plans, whilst also hitting internal change management and revenue targets. You will be responsible for owning supplier relationships, aiming to provide value to suppliers and do so whilst enhancing the customer experience. You'll need to be commercial, and passionate about the exciting, high growth Retail Media industry, as well as upskilling on the current business operating model and transformation plans we are working towards in Retail Media. What you’ll do Manage a set of supplier partner media plans with Ocado Retail, across onsite, offsite and other media channels Work closely with the Buying department to ensure media plans are aligned with the commercial direction of the business Full commercial responsibility over these supplier partners for media Be able to pitch strong, customer first media plans, linked heavily to promotional plans and supplier objectives Manage to a commercial budget, through building pipeline, pitching and managing the business to business buy cycle Who you are At least 2 years experience trading online Experience working with retail media plans, FMCG’s and / or agencies Strong passion for retail media, and being part of a bigger transformation roadmap Ability to build strong trusting relationships with suppliers Credible individual who can project trust to various stakeholders at different levels of organisations Commercially astute, comfortable with sales and negotiation Able to navigate the complex, and embrace ambiguity Able to communicate data and insight clearly and concisely to various functions at all levels of the business What’s in it for you By joining Ocado Retail you’ll have the chance to experience life at the world’s largest online retailer, work with an amazing bunch of people who challenge what’s possible each day and grow your skills and career in online retail.
