Accelerated Learning Group Leader Salary Scale TA4 Points 19-22 £13,829 - £14,535.44 ( SNA allowance) Part Time (5 x AM, 18.75 hours per week) 8.30 – 12.15 Franche Community Primary School is seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated individual who will lead an Accelerated Learning Group for pupils in Years 4-6 with additional needs, during the mornings. Applicants must have experience of working with groups of children with SEND and a passion for supporting them to make progress; improving their educational and personal outcomes. Applicants must also have had regular experience of whole class cover supervision within Key Stages one or two, or have previous whole class teaching experience. The successful candidate will work alongside the SENCO and class teachers but must be fully involved in the planning cycle to ensure effective personalised learning for the pupils in the group. PPA time will be given to support with this. This role will require effective collaboration with the SENDCO to support with the implementation and monitoring of the contents of any relevant EHCPs. This will include liaison with parents at times and attendance at any relevant review meetings. The successful candidate will also have an additional Teaching Assistant within the group to support the progress of learning and therefore effective communication and information sharing is essential.
