In this newly created role for 2025, we would be delighted to hear from chartered level candidates who have a blend of the following: Working knowledge of relevant legislation, planning policy, design standards and industry best practice relating to surface water management and SuDS. Experience of delivering surface water management projects including SuDS, green infrastructure and gravity piped drainage. Knowledge of hydraulic modelling will be a plus. Working towards chartered status with the ICE, CIWEM or similar. Highly effective communicator, with experience of mentoring and training to support junior staff development. Demonstrable knowledge of Safety in Design and an understanding of CDM requirements. We are looking for an experienced surface water management Civil / Water / River Engineer to join our Water Catchment Management team to help drive our extensive programme of works with varied clients in many sectors. You will join our dynamic team of over 1,000 Water and Environment professionals, working on a range of high-profile projects offering excellent and rewarding career prospects. Supported by the wider Jacobs team, you will have a varied role which will include providing technical input and guidance to deliver surface water management projects from conceptual design through to construction and handover.
