SEND Teaching Assistant - Kings Heath, Birmingham (B14)
We are looking for a compassionate and patient SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Birmingham. This role is based within a specialist, well-equipped resource hub, supporting EYFS and KS1 pupils with additional needs. You will be working closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants and an SEN Teacher, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Holds a Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent
- Has strong experience providing 1:1 support to children
- Has experience working with SEND pupils (Autism, ASD, Speech, Language & Communication Needs)
- Works well as part of a team and under the direction of the class teacher
- Understands Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and how to review progress
- Has knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
- Located in Birmingham, B14
