Our customers come to us for all kinds of tech needs. Some require secure storage for important information like passport details or visa applications, others for programme or application support. No matter the task, our people are always ready to help. And now, you’ve got the opportunity to join them.
You’ll start with small technical issues, but by the end of your training, you’ll work with ground-breaking technology helping protect our customers at the very highest security classifications. And you’ll be using your newly-developed skills to keep people, information and assets safe around the world. Whatever project or initiative you’re asked to get involved in, you’ll find unparalleled learning opportunities.
You’ll spend up to 22 months learning to deliver and support successful and secure IT and mobile solutions for high-level UK government departments, agencies and some friendly international governments. It’s down to us to make sure their information and assets are protected, and you’ll be part of that effort every day. Expect hands-on training on high-level projects, combined with academic studies that will ensure you learn the theory behind the practice. What this means for you is that by the end of it all, you’ll be well on your way to an incredible professional career – one that protects the UK’s interests at home and overseas.
Before you start your application, check that you meet the
minimum entry criteria.
Next, complete your application form - It’s time to let us know why you’d be the perfect person for your preferred role. So complete your application form confirming your current qualifications (or predicted grades). Don’t forget to complete a letter of application too, showing
us how you meet the essential criteria for the programme.
Sit back and wait for us to do our application sift. You don’t need to do anything at this stage. We’ll assess your application against the essential criteria for the programme. We progress applications based on merit and who best fits the relevant criteria.
Complete our assessments. If you’re shortlisted, we’ll ask you to complete some assessments that are aligned to our apprenticeship schemes. These may include psychometric testing and a group exercise.
Through to the next stage? We’ll invite you to attend a strengths-based interview, We’ll ask specific questions so that we can get an
understanding of your basic knowledge of the subject area for the programme you’ve chosen. Plus, it’s a great chance for us to see your passion for your chosen scheme.
We’ll make a conditional offer and complete the relevant vetting.
You’ll then go through our pre-employment enquiries, including checking your references and asking you to attend a medical assessment. Due to the secure nature of our work, we’ll need to vet you. This means you’ll be background checked for national security purposes.
