Overview
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating talent management and development programs that enhance colleague skills, engagement, and career growth. By fostering a high-performance culture, this position plays a key role in supporting the organization's strategic goals through effective talent development initiatives.
Key Accountability
Talent Management
* Develop and implement talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, and career development
* Identify high-potential colleagues and create tailored development plans to support their growth
* Collaborate with leadership to align talent initiatives with business objectives
Learning & Development
* Design, deliver, and evaluate development programs, workshops, and e-learning modules to address skill gaps and improve colleague performance
* Conduct training needs assessments in collaboration with department heads and through my IPN journey insight to identify areas for development
* Manage learning platforms and tools, ensuring up-to-date and relevant content
Colleague Engagement
* Develop initiatives to enhance colleague engagement and retention, including recognition programs and team-building activities
* Monitor colleague feedback through surveys and other tools, analysing data to propose actionable improvements
Performance Management
* Support the performance review process by providing training, resources, and guidance to managers and colleagues
* Lead the implementation of each performance management cycle point
Coaching and Mentoring
* Provide coaching and mentoring to colleagues at various levels to support their career development and performance goals
* Establish mentoring programs to foster knowledge sharing and professional growth
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)
* Support DEI initiatives by integrating inclusive practices into talent and development programs
* Develop training and workshops that promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Education & Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field - preferred
* Proven experience in talent management, learning & development, or HR.
Skills & Competencies:
* Proven ability to design and implement talent development programs.
* Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
* Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to measure program effectiveness.
* Ability to influence and collaborate with leadership and key stakeholders.
* Knowledge of HR best practices, performance management, and career development strategies.

* Location: Thirsk, North Yorkshire (Hybrid - 3 days on site)
