ECO Division Manager – Overview
We have an opportunity for an ECO Division Manager to join a growing renewable energy company looking to move into the ECO space. This role would help them to set up and establish an ECO division within their £10 million turnover business. Traditionally, they have always worked in the Able-to-Pay or private domestic market; however, they have been offered the opportunity to become a Main Contractor through a managing partner and need an expert in the ECO field to join the company to help navigate this next period of growth.
The company started in 2016 and has grown to become one of the UK’s most established and effective suppliers, installers, and service providers for Heat Pumps throughout the UK. They are experts in installing and servicing ASHP, GSHP, UFH, and other heating systems. They also act as an accredited supplier for multiple heat pump manufacturers and have built an installer network nationwide, providing the structure for heating companies to diversify into heat pump installation. They provide other businesses with the design for each installation, supply the units and materials, and send their Engineers to commission, snag, and sign off the system, taking care of all of the MCS paperwork as well.
As part of their installer network, many install under the ECO Schemes. They have built a strong relationship with one of the UK’s primary managing partners, who have now offered them the opportunity to become a ‘Main Contractor’ for their ECO leads. They need a Manager with experience managing ECO projects to come in and help build the division. This would involve implementing their structure and processes, ensuring adherence to the strict regulations of the ECO schemes. Their work will be all focused on Heat Pumps. They have the knowledge, expertise, and experience with the installations, but what they are lacking is the knowledge of the ECO process.
This role offers a genuine opportunity to make a massive difference in the company’s next phase of growth. As the division grows, so will your position within the company. They are all about progression, and the company has an extremely positive culture, with their staff retention being at 95% since their conception. The original 10 members of the team are still with the business, and over the last 7 years, they have grown the business to 50 staff and a turnover of £10 million.
This role would be based from their offices in Oxford; however, they can offer a hybrid working arrangement so you wouldn’t have to be in every day.
