Montresor is exclusively mandated by the London office of a major US firm, seeking a Restructuring Associate (4-6 years PQE) to join a growing team.
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of high-profile domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, working alongside some of the most respected practitioners in the field.
The team has experienced significant growth in recent months, bolstered by internal make-ups and clever partner acquisition. They bring a wealth of experience in providing innovative, solutions-driven advice on complex restructuring, insolvency, and distressed M&A matters.
The partner team are consistently bringing in big creditor mandates, supported by a strong private equity function throwing off portfolio company roles for major private capital clients.
The team’s practice spans includes advising on UK restructuring plans, distressed debt situations, and cross-border insolvency issues, with a particular focus on advising funds and other institutional investors.

Skills and Experience:
* Comfortable running deals alongside a partner.
* Qualified solicitor with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in restructuring, insolvency, or distressed finance.
* Strong technical expertise in both domestic and cross-border restructuring matters, with a focus on UK restructuring plans, distressed M&A, and debt restructurings - creditor side / bondholder experience useful.
* A collaborative, team-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
