What you will do
* Join our sought-after Commercial Management Trainee Programme, where you’ll develop an understanding of the commercial function within a built-environment project.
* You will develop your understanding of the processes and activity relating to cost, profit and risk management.
* Using the knowledge and skills you’ve learnt on the programme, you’ll:
o Build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including our customers and supply chain.
o Manage, produce and analyse commercial reports, and documentation, relating to the financial status of projects.
o Safeguard the financial and contractual position of the company, understanding the progress of works and legal obligations.
o Develop your understanding in forecasting, risk assessment and cash flow.

Eligibility
For the Trainee Management Programme via the Apprenticeship route, you’ll need to have achieved grade 4/C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) and need to have obtained / be working towards a minimum of 2 A-Levels at grade D or above, or equivalent (Level 3 NVQ, BTEC, T-Level etc.).
With the exception of London, all locations require a full UK driving license plus some additional commitments as follows;
* Cambridge – you will be required to undergo advanced security clearance.
* Leicester - initially based in our Castle Donington office and required to work on one of our large projects in Gartree which requires you to undergo advanced security clearance.
* Southampton - specific office location, regular travel throughout the South East coastal region including between Southampton and Portsmouth.
* Birmingham - you will be based from a specific location but our projects are widespread across the Midlands region, so you will regularly be required to travel between projects in this area.
