Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Hotel Sales Leader to join the team at the Delta Hotels By Marriott Manchester Airport. The Role: As Hotel Sales Leader, you will play a key role in maintaining and building strong relationships with our key clients, be accountable for proactively soliciting and managing special corporate accounts, group and catering-related opportunities along with total account management of the existing account portfolio. Your focus is to build long term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales budgets to promote brand loyalty and increase market share. You will be responsible for, but not limited to: Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc. Develops relationships within the community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities. Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management. Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals. Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them. Ensures that the Senior Event Manager and their team are working effectively and efficiently to deliver and exceptional customer experience Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships within the whole hotel Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Our Ideal Candidate: You will have a proven track record in a similar role within a hotel environment. Experience in coaching and developing team members, driving sales and delivering financial results.
