Our client is an industry leading supplier in the hire & construction sector, with a strong reputation in delivering on expectation. Due to continued demand, they now seek to employ a skilled Business Development Manager to join their successful sales team based at UK Head Office in St Neots.
As Business Development Manager you will identify sales opportunities through existing accounts by building trust and delivering on promises as well as targeting new customers.
You will create quotes and update orders, assist with queries and negotiation of orders, update CRM systems and price check prior to processing any orders. You will be the point of contact for the customer and escalate queries when necessary. As such, its likely you'll be outbound calling up to 50 contacts a day so must feel comfortable being on the phone and dialling out, this is not just an Account Manager role and they want somebody passionately proactive.
Building a rapport with customers and offering a high level of customer service is crucial to this role and you will be able to demonstrate this ability. Successful candidates will have experience in working to sales targets and be able to work smart in order to achieve these goals.
You will have the pleasure of working in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere with easy access by car from all main routes. You must be easily accessible to the office daily although working off-site and travelling may also be required.
This role will only suit a sales hungry, motivated business hunter who can win new clients across the UK, with an immediate focus on the Eastern Regions and London. Candidates must have experience selling in the construction or hire sectors.
This role is commutable from Huntingdon, Cambridge, St Ives, Bedford, Ely, Chatteris, Peterborough, Newmarket, March, St Neots, Cambourne, Corby & Kettering.
