We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing organization in the IT services sector. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering and managing long-term client relationships, driving growth within existing accounts, and ensuring client satisfaction through strategic partnership development. Location: Wokingham, UK Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients. Understand their business objectives and challenges to deliver tailored solutions and drive long-term partnerships. Sales Strategy Implementation: Work closely with the leadership team to implement sales strategies aligned with the company’s goals. Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and customize approaches to meet client needs. Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor account performance through data analysis to assess client satisfaction and retention rates. Use insights to recommend improvements and maximize value. Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal teams across marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure that client expectations are met and our offerings stay relevant to the market. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve client concerns proactively and effectively to ensure satisfaction and maintain positive relationships. Account Development: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within accounts. Create proposals to meet evolving client needs and maximize revenue. Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to enhance account strategies and stay competitive. Budget Management: Help manage account budgets to ensure effective resource allocation and return on investment (ROI). Reporting and Forecasting: Provide leadership with regular updates on account performance, offering data-driven insights and growth recommendations. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Experience: 5 years of proven experience in account management or sales roles, ideally in the IT service industry. Skills: Strong track record in developing client relationships and achieving revenue growth. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities. Proven capability in developing and implementing effective strategies tailored to client needs. Strong analytical skills with a data-driven decision-making approach. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as required.
