As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in providing tailored support that helps students reach their full potential. The Role:
In this role, you'll work closely with students, supporting their academic and social growth. Key responsibilities include:
Specialised Support: Provide tailored assistance to students, adapting materials to meet their unique needs.
Progress Monitoring: Track student development and share feedback with teachers and parents to ensure milestone achievement.
Emotional Support: Create a safe, nurturing environment to help students manage anxieties and sensory needs.
Communication: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals involved in each student’s education.
Promoting Inclusion: Foster social integration and inclusivity within the school community.
Requirements:
Experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant, especially with students with learning differences.
Strong empathy, patience, and passion for helping students succeed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
Experience in implementing IEPs and supporting students individually and in groups is advantageous.
