Job Description
The HSEQ Quality Officer is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and development of the Company’s Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance with ISM, TMSA, ISO standards, and internal policies. The role involves supporting the fleet to ensure valid SMS documents are always available onboard.
Main Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining and developing the Company’s management system.
* Produce and supply safety, environmental, and quality documentation, including initial vessel management setup.
* Ensure controlled copies of HSEQ documentation are maintained according to procedures.
* Amend and revise documentation to meet development needs.
* Conduct office audits and ensure non-conformance issues are addressed with effective corrective actions.
* Issue audits as per schedule.
* Manage the Change Management Procedure and process proposals for change.
* Respond to vessel meeting minutes and reviews.
* Prepare and pass the Contingency File to Technical Assistants.
